Gauthier Vermandel

I am full time researcher at Ecole polytechnique in the Department of Applied Mathematics (CMAP, Institut Polytechnique de Paris), on leave from (tenured) Associate Professor position at Université Paris-Dauphine & PSL.

My main research fields are quantitative macroeconomics, climate change, business cycle theory, and inference of nonlinear structural models. I am also research fellow for Stress-test chair, and consultant for the Banque de France on climate change models (DECAMS service). I was also Advisor at France Stratégie (French prime minister research unit), for three years.

I received in 2021 the EFA prize in responsible finance, in 2023 the Banque de France young researcher prize in green finance.

I’m also President of DSGE-net, a non-profit organization financing the Dynare project by collecting funds from Institutions. I am also member of the Dynare Team to implement Dynare into Python/Julia.

New! We launch a Quantitative Sustainable Finance (QSEF) seminar at CMAP-CREST.
